Fine Edge Gaming has signed a deal to be the first studio partner of SwinntStudios, the online gaming software provider. This new vertical will enable third-party studios and other entities to create market-ready content for the Swintt platform.

In recent years, the industry has moved from single-supplier, desktop-based download-only casino clients to HTML5 instant-play browser-based gaming. The supply side of the equation has seen dramatic changes due to the associated developments. Operators can now choose game aggregators that compile whole libraries of games titles, giving them the unlimited game choice for players in regulated markets.

Platform providers like Microgaming, Yggdrasil and now Swintt are opening their infrastructure to new and smaller third-party developers. As a result, smaller game studios now have the opportunity to tap into a wider framework to create market-ready material and do what they love best: create new and innovative content. Swintt, with its established critical pathways, can handle the technical end of game logic and product delivery.

Although the brand may not be known to players, Fine Edge Gaming founders are well-versed in US land-based gaming. Founder Beena Blake has worked for giants such as Incredible Technologies and IGT in the industry for three and a quarter decades.

She and her team have the freedom to navigate the studio vehicle themselves rather than trying to recreate the wheel. This partnership allows them to be a winning force right out of the gate.

Two titles, Diego’s Hunt and Stacking Bisons, have already been confirmed. The SwinttStudios platform will be used by the team to create at least four additional games in 2022. Swintt also has existing licensing and distribution partnerships that will allow the team to bring the games to market quickly.
