In Europe, Unbanked, a provider of white-label services such as cryptocurrency card issuance, is working to advance crypto use by Web3 companies. To do so, it has teamed up with MasterCard in order to expedite the issuance of DeFi cards across the region.

MasterCard and Unbanked have already formed partnerships with leading Web3 organizations for the launch of innovative payment card programs. Both organizations target cryptocurrency-powered cards that are simple, secure and consumer-friendly. Through this initiative, they intend to ensure that these cards are issued in a secure and convenient manner.

As part of its partnership with the Litecoin Foundation, Unbanked has been offering US residents the Litecoin Card for over two years. The Unbanked and MasterCard partnership will now lead to the Litecoin Card program becoming available to residents of the UK and Europe. Approximately 84% of the total population of Europe will be able to utilize the Litecoin Card program.

Unbanked supports many of the largest players in the Web3 industry by enabling them to offer their users a branded experience through its platform. Users are able to create white-label cards, crypto wallets and more with the Unbanked API so that they can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

With Unbanked’s automatic compliance tools, all partners are able to achieve compliance and validation to the highest standard, which ensures that the payment systems and users are protected.

With Unbanked, a fintech company, blockchain is at the core of its solution. As a result of its belief that financial control and access are fundamental human rights, it brings together FinTech and enterprise and banking systems with blockchain infrastructure with the goal of making crypto more useful for investment and routine commercial purchases.
